August 2020 Team Stamp It Blog Hop- Fall

Hi there crafty friends! Welcome to the August Team Stamp It Blog Hop! You may be starting from my blog, SassyPaperCrafts or you may have come from another hoppers page. Either way, welcome! I’m Sarah Schatilo and I’m so happy you’ve stopped by my blog today. Make sure you click on the next blog in the hop so you don’t miss out on the amazing projects for this month’s theme! The list is down below.

This month’s theme is fall. I’ve decided to use one of my favorite bundles to create my card. The Gather Together Bundle is a returning favorite from last year’s catalog and I’m so excited it’s back!

Look at the detail from those dies!

I started with my card base using Early Espresso cardstock. I then cut some Pumpkin Pie, Merry Merlot and Early Espresso for my layers.

I stamped the wheat from the stamp set on the Merry Merlot to create my own designer series paper. I then embossed my Early Espresso piece with the Woodland Embossing folder.

Next came die cutting. I stamped the leaf from the set onto scraps of Early Espresso, Merry Merlot and Pumpkin Pie cardstock. I cut them out using the die from the bundle. I then used the smaller leaves from the die set to emboss and cut! How cool is that?

Always add an inside panel when using dark cardstock.

For the inside, I stamped in the corners and used this lovely sentiment from the set.

The leaves are gorgeous 😍

I cut out my sentiment using the Tasteful Labels dies. The detail in these dies is stunning!

Finally, I adhered all the components using Stampin Dimensionals, Glue Dots and the new Stampin’ Seal. I added Pumpkin Pie Holiday Rhinestones for a finishing touch.

I hope you enjoyed my card today! Leave a comment using #stampitcontest to be entered in the giveaway.

This is a beautiful card! I can see making an elegant invitation from it! The leaves, especially with the emboss insert, are so so beautiful! It is Turkey time!
