October Team Stamp It Blog Hop- Thanksgiving

My project for this hop is a “punch art” turkey card. Actually, the turkey doesn’t use punches at all, but it sounds better than a “die cut art” turkey card. Anywho…. here’s my project!

I used Cinnamon Cider for the turkeys body and head. I cut them out using the Layering Circles dies. The tail is made of “feathers” from the Intricate Leaves Dies.

For the face, I used a standard hole punch I have lying around and punched 2 Basic White circles for the eyes and use a Dark Basic Black blend for the pupils.

I cut out a part of the negative image of the Cajun Craze leaf to make the waddle. The beak was made by cutting a triangle from a piece of Bumblebee cardstock.

The sentiment comes from the Lovely You Stamp Set and is layered on pieces cut using the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch.

For texture, I embossed the Basic White cardstock with the Bark 3D embossing folder. I added a piece of Fine Art Ribbon and a couple of Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots.
